Kismet Olfactive is an independent artistic perfumery brand based in New York, founded by perfumer Shabnam Tavakol. The name already encapsulates its entire essence: “Kismet”, from the Persian qismat, means destiny, that which is written, and represents the desire to transform the most significant moments of life into perfume. Raised in California, Shabnam combines her Persian cultural heritage with her American background in her creations, giving life to her vision of artistic perfumery. After training at the prestigious Grasse Institute of Perfumery and working with important fashion houses between Paris and New York, she created Kismet Olfactive with the aim of telling stories through perfume. Kismet Olfactive perfumes are thus born from an interweaving of influences: art, music, poetry, oriental philosophy and memory, creating fragrances that go beyond simple olfactory composition to become emotional and sensory experiences.
The Kismet Olfactive collection stands out in the niche perfume landscape for its deeply narrative and experimental approach. Each fragrance is designed as a story, capable of evoking sensations, memories and moods through bold and unisex olfactory accords.
