Yvo, the creator of the brand, realised as early as his sixth birthday that he possessed an extraordinary gift: an exceptional olfactory, which enabled him to perceive fragrances uniquely. As he grew up, he developed an extraordinary ability to recognise and classify aromas. At the age of 18, the prestigious perfume house IFF offered him the opportunity to become a 'nose' and offered him a job in New York City. Despite the tempting opportunity, Yvo chose to follow another passion: music.
Yvo then decided to cultivate his passion for the cello and enrolled at the Conservatory of Florence. During his years of study, however, an injury to his left hand forced him to revise his plans and leave this great love of his to dedicate himself to the study of law. Despite the change of path, Yvo never gave up his passion for fragrances, continuing to cultivate it even while studying law.
The Dream of Creating a Unique Essence
Yvo's passion for the world of perfumery led him to pursue a career in specialised journalism: through his words, he was able to transport readers into a world of perfumes and olfactory stories. Travelling the length and breadth of the globe, he gathered valuable experiences and encounters, enriching his knowledge of the world of fragrances.
Despite his success in the field of journalism, Yvo had a dream that remained in the drawer: to create his fragrance, capable of telling his vision of the world through aromas. He met famous perfumers who encouraged him to create his fragrance, including Jean-Claude Ellena of Hermiss and François Demachy of Dior and Acqua di Parma, and the flame of his ambition grew ever brighter.
