diptyque Eau Lente EDT is a spicy eau de toilette unisex. The opopanax, resin of a tree native to Iran, is one of the most ancient perfumes in the world: Egyptians used it in the oldest beauty recipes. It is not surprising then that the opopanax was burned in honor of the Gods in the temples of ancient Greece and that Alexander the Great used it to perfume his clothes on a brazier filled with spices. From these uses comes the inspiration for a unique fragrance, created in 1986. The opopanax gives the scented creations a mysterious mystical halo. Eau Lente, literally slow water, is a fragrance impossible to describe in a synthetic way. It is constantly evolving, as the opopanax is released slowly. Oriental and spicy, it is heated in contact with the skin, initially enhancing the spicy notes and only later spreading the warmth of the opopanax, which releases hints of vanilla.
