A long time ago, in the splendid city of Naples, lived Ali Baba. The story takes the usual course, with the famous ‘Open sesame!’, but after finding gold and jewels, Ali Baba discovers an even more precious treasure: thousands of Neapolitan babas, ready to be soaked in rum. The scent that was released was so intense that it made his mouth water. They were irresistible sweets, but Ali Baba, not being selfish, decided to share them with the poor people of the city, who welcomed him with joy and proclaimed him the king of babas. It is this story, and the Neapolitan dessert par excellence, that Ali Baba Extrait de Parfum is inspired by.
