Payment methods
50ml offers several payment options. The reference currency is always the Euro.
Credit and Debit Cards
You can pay with all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, American Express) and debit cards on our virtual POS managed by Braintree, a PayPal group company.
For amounts over €30.00, in compliance with European Union financial regulations, the ordering customer will be asked for strong authentication of the payment with OTP via token or SMS, with fingerprint or with facial scan if using an app.
Bank transfer
We also accept direct bank transfers: to make the payment, you will receive the coordinates during checkout. In the description field for the bank transfer you must indicate the order number. If the customer selects the bank transfer payment, the shipment will be carried out only once the payment is credited to the bank account of 50ml. This operation usually takes 2 working days in the case of normal bank transfers, while for immediate bank transfers the crediting is practically simultaneous with the bank transaction.
PayPal
If you have a PayPal account, you can conveniently pay using your PayPal account and speed up the payment process.
Apple Pay
This option is only available to owners of Apple devices, browsing from the Safari browser
Amazon Pay
Amazon pay is a payment service that uses your Amazon account credentials to facilitate secure credit and prepaid card transactions. By choosing this payment method, you will use the cards registered in your Amazon account to speed up transactions.
Klarna
Klarna is a payment system that allows you to make purchases and pay in 3 equal instalments at zero interest. You can choose this payment method during checkout as an alternative to credit cards.
To use Klarna's services it’s very simple, even if you are not already a registered user. First, you must choose Klarna as your preferred payment method first, then Klarna will ask you for some information (first and last name, tax code, email and phone number) necessary to activate an account on the platform outside our site. Klarna needs this data to manage the instalment of your payments, which can be settled by registering a credit or prepaid card on Klarna’s platform.
When you have placed an order, Klarna will immediately charge you 33% of the total amount of your purchase. Then they are going to charge you the rest in 30 and 60 days after the date of the first payment. You don't have to worry about the next two payments because Klarna will handle everything automatically. However, if you choose to use a prepaid card, please be sure to have enough credit to cover the whole costs. This will help you to avoid unpleasant problems on your account.
Finally, we would like to remind you that in case of returns, you will have to communicate the status of your order both to our customer service and to Klarna via their platform. This is the only way for Klarna to stop charging you the next instalments and place a refund if you are entitled to it.
Orders over the phone
If it is more convenient for you to place orders over the phone, you can call us on 02 36520528 or 392 4605518, also contact us via WhatsApp. In this case you can choose between bank transfer and credit card. If you want to pay by credit card, we will send you an email with a link where you can enter your card details and pay safely. Our operators are not authorized to ask for your credit card details over the phone, so you should never give them to anyone helping you during the order process.
Protecting your data
To give even more confidence to customers who buy online on 50ml, we have chosen to work with Braintree, a leading company in online payments and personal data protection.
The fields where your credit card details will be entered are located on Braintree's servers, which guarantees compliance with PCI (Payment Card Industry) security standards.
Never and at no time during the transaction will 50ml be able to see or use your private credit card details.
Faster purchases
50ml also provides the option of securely storing your credit card and PayPal account details, making it faster and easier to shop on our site. The full card details will never be displayed: only the last four digits will be visible, so you know which card you are using. You can always use different payment data than the ones you have saved.
All payment data is saved and managed by Braintree, and 50ml has no direct access to it.
