The story of Sora Dora, an artistic perfumery brand, is deeply rooted in the love for the land and the passion for the scents of landscapes. The brand was founded by Erik Soradora with the aim of honoring his family's past, particularly his grandfather Antoine, the founder of the family perfumery, through unique olfactory creations that evoke childhood memories and timeless landscapes. The result is a collection of artistic, sophisticated, and passionate perfumes that tell timeless stories in a modern way. Craftsmanship is central to Sora Dora: raw materials are selected with extreme care, and the production processes maintain the highest standards while preserving the environment.

 

The Story of Antoine Soradora

Antoine, the brand's main source of inspiration, was born in 1902 in Loulé, a warm city in the south of Portugal, where powerful sea waves crash against the cliffs and lavender grows abundantly. He quickly learned to cultivate and love the land from his farmer parents, who hoped for a future for him in the Church. Antoine loved experiencing the scents of the landscapes around him: the sea breeze, the warmth of the earth, and the tranquility of lavender. This passion for fragrance grew strong within him and led him far. He moved to France, where he worked in a mine, hosted by a kind family in the south of France, in Provence. As a sign of gratitude, Antoine took care of their beautiful garden, filled with intoxicating floral scents. In his free time, he strolled through the streets of Provence, fascinated by the aromas of the region. During a trip to Grasse, the city of Perfume, he met Étienne, a young jasmine grower, with whom he decided to pursue his great dream of becoming a perfumer. Unfortunately, Étienne passed away before realizing his dream, but Antoine carried on their legacy, created his first perfume, and later opened his own perfumery. From this heritage, Sora Dora was born, a brand that celebrates the connection between nature and perfume, transforming memories and landscapes into refined and evocative fragrances.
