Diptyque Philosykos Eau de Parfum is a unisex woody perfume.
Desmond Knox-Leet and Yves Coueslant used to spend their summer vacation in a house in Greece near Mount Pelion in Thessaly. These numerous trips to Greece inspired Philosykos: friend of the fig tree. This eau de parfum is an homage to Plato, who believed that this plant had the power to strengthen intelligence. Along the paths that led to the sea a clearing strewn with wild fig trees and all around the spread of the scent of their fruits, this is how Philosykos was born. The success of Diptyque's Philosykos is due to the olfactory balance it generates, there is the whole fig tree. The leaves and the flower create fresh and green hues made more round by a white cedar wood background. Finally, the lymph and the resin give greater complexity to the entire structure of this dreamy perfume.
